Welcome to Good Shepherd United Methodist Church! For over a century, we have been serving Hampden and the city of Baltimore from the corner of 38th and Roland. We are a small congregation, but our mission is big: we are called to care for the needs of God’s children within and beyond our walls. Because every person is God’s beloved child, our congregation extends beyond our membership and walls and stretches into our community, spreads throughout our city, and reaches across the world.
We believe grace is always greater than sin, have an open communion table, and boldly witness to God’s inclusive and expansive love for all: whatever you believe or doubt, whatever you’ve done or failed to do, whatever your story or experience of being human in this world, and whomever you love you are welcome here!
