CONNECT

Everyone deserves to belong. Connection to something beyond yourself is necessary for ongoing spiritual growth, accountability, and transformation. When you offer your gifts and story, Good Shepherd UMC is uplifted, strengthened, and transformed into Christ’s body.
Here are some ways you can connect:

BIBLE STUDIES

Grow in your understanding of scripture and its challenging, inspiring, and healing wisdom, which still speaks to us today across the millennia.  Joint studies during Advent and Lent are offered with our sibling congregation, Hampden UMC, as well as a summer study led by our Lay Leader.

Young Adults

YOUNG ADULT SMALL GROUP

Forge friendships to accompany you through whatever season of life you are in.  Open to people who are under the age of 35, the young adult small group gathers informally and organically over shared meals, social outings, service opportunities, and fosters the interests members of the group have.

NEW MEMBERS CLASS

If you are not yet a member of Good Shepherd UMC, but wish to deepen your involvement by becoming a member, a new member’s class is the place to start. This class is offered periodically upon the request of prospective members.

Social Sunday

SOCIAL SUNDAYS

The church comes together once a month for a time of fellowship over a shared meal.  If you have a heart for cooking or baking, please bring a dish to share or simply enjoy the time of fellowship with other members of the church.
